Dr. Kathryn Fideler is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized fellowship training in joint replacement surgery. Originally from Wisconsin, she completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University.
She received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School, where she was part of the inaugural board of Phi Delta Epsilon, a medical fraternity. Dr. Fideler completed her orthopedic surgery residency at The Ohio State University, serving as the administrative chief resident.
Dr. Fideler pursued dedicated training in joint replacement of the hip and knee at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute (AORI) in Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Fideler has expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques including the direct anterior approach for total hip replacement and partial knee replacement. Additionally, she is trained in complex procedures, including revision surgeries for hip and knee replacements.
